Granted...

I suppose after giving so much shit to Pitchfork Media the other day, I must link to them actually writing about an Ohio band.
UPDATE: I've changed my mind. Let's face it, the dudes work in Chicago and they still don't give a fuck about the Midwest. That's like being from Cleveland and not liking pork … or something like that.

Eh, it's the Black Keys. It's not the same. They're already established. Same for Guided By Voices (and related solo projects).

Now, if they write about a newer Ohio band (I can't believe they haven't even latched onto Bears, by the way), that will be very exciting.

Maybe you're both right.
They recently talked about a Norwegian singer, Radiohead (for the millionth time), and I think I saw Ben Gibbard's name in there (yawn)...
Screw Pitchfork. The dudes work in Chicago and still don't give a fuck.
If they are going to talk about The Black Keys (which is great) they could also mention they are doing some of those gigs on the tour with Cincinnati's excellent Buffalo Killers.
But no...
